Audiologic testing and hearing evaluations

Diagnostic hearing tests should never be done in the home. Accuracy is obtained when tests are performed in a controlled environment, such as our sound-proof testing booths. Sonus is accredited and participates with many insurance companies, so your hearing tests could be covered. "Free" hearing tests can actually cost more. Hearing aid prices are often inflated to cover the cost of testing rather than utilizing existing health insurance coverage. Sonus provides a full range of services including Comprehensive Audiologic Evaluation, Tympanometry, Central Auditory Processing (CAP) testing, Air and Bone Conduction Auditory Brainstem (ABR) testing, Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) testing, Electronystagmography (ENG) with video recording, evaluation of tinnitus (chronic ringing in the ears), and newborn hearing screenings and diagnostic testing.
