Hearing Aid Evaluations

Our Audiologists provide Audiometric Testing, which measures your ability to hear and understand speech and hear pure tones of various frequencies. If indicated our Audiologists may also conduct a number of other evaluations to precisely identify your specific needs. Few hearing care practices are this thorough, but our experience has shown this extra effort is the best way to find a successful solution for better hearing.

Hearing Inventory (HI)
A personalized assessment of how your hearing is affecting your life and what you feel your hearing needs are.

Client Oriented Scale of Improvement (COSI)
Helps you define and set your own goals for better hearing.

Speech in Noise Testing (Quick SIN)
Determines your ability to understand speech in noise. This information determines the need for directional microphones or other hearing aid features. Sonus is one of the few companies offering this crucial test.

Frequency Specific Loudness Discomfort Levels (LDLs)
Establishes the loudest sounds you are able to tolerate. This helps make sure your hearing aids are not too loud.

Acceptable Noise Level Test (ANLT)
Discovers how well you tolerate background noise. This allows for a more accurate recommendation about hearing aid features that will help you most.
